Three new downhill tracks will be officially opened at Gawton in Tavistock, Devon, UK on 11 April.
Local trail building group the Woodland Riders received a £50,000 lottery grant and set about building the new trails with the help of Rowan Sorrell. He’s the man behind the epic Cwmcarn and Rheola downhill runs, Brechfa freeride section and Glyncorrwg Energy section.
We visited Gawton earlier this week and were impressed with the riding on offer. We’ve got an interview with club secretary Andy Boyle where he tells us about the history of the club, why Gawton is so brilliant, the current riders and what to look out for in the future. Watch it now.
