Madison Prime saddle - in brief review

Competent budget seating

BikeRadar score3/5

The Prime’s slightly curved top offers a pleasantly comfortable perch. It's enhanced further by a 90mm long base cutout and a decent amount of flex in the saddle's hull.

The prominent seams on top enhance purchase, though some of our testers found they could feel the seam on the V-shaped central pattern. Despite the Prime’s relatively short size, a full 65mm of adjustment on the rails means it's easy to find the optimum position when setting it up on the bike.

For a commuter bike or sportive rider on a budget the Madison is a decent option – though you may have an issue with the prominent seams, so it’s worth trying one before you buy.
