Sponsored post: Mark Cavendish is up for a new kind of challenge, are you?

Take part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Cycle

While the next Tour de France seems an age away, a brand new challenge is just the thing to tear Mark Cavendish from his other hobbies.

It’s time to get on your bike too and take part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Cycle on Sunday 23rd March 2014. You can choose from one of our three rides in Glasgow, Manchester and our landmark Cycle in London at the Lee Valley VeloPark at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Each location will have a 25 and 50-mile route.

  • The London Cycle routes start and finish at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
  • The Glasgow Cycle routes run from the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome to Tollcross Park
  • The Manchester Cycle routes start and finish at Old Trafford football stadium

Riders have to be 16 or over to enter the 25 and 50 mile cycles and there’s also a 3-mile Family Cycle for your budding Bradley Wiggins or Victoria Pendleton.

Thousands of other cyclists will be saddling up and you could even spot a famous face or two.

To really make your Cycle count, don’t forget to get sponsored. Wherever you finish, you’ll be doing your personal best because the money you raise will be used by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people both here in the UK and around the world.
