"Exceptional performance in both the cold and wet"

These neat gloves stop the wind and, although they don't provide quite the highest level of warmth, they insulate remarkably well, especially considering their relatively low bulk.

Rain rolls off the polyester upper, only soaking into the fleecy sweat wipe, so this is a glove that doesn't get too heavy when the skies open. No water gets through to your hands but vapour can escape outwards when you sweat, minimising clamminess. Palm padding is welcome, while grippy sections on the tips of the first two fingers and the thumb prevent any slipping on the levers.

I to own a pair of these gloves and the thing they ARE NOT IS WATERPROOF. the first time I wore them it rained for the last 11/2 hours of my ride, in 45 minutes these gloves where soaked through. To the point that when I made a fist water came out like squeezing a sponge also my hands were cold to the bone and painfully so

They are not breathable either if wore on long rides they become damp inside chilling you hands. If you are looking for a cold weather waterproof glove keep looking as I am, because I have yet to find a pair apart from Marigolds.

My brother owns a pair also and has the same opinion about them he emailed SealSkinz to explain they false claim that there gloves are waterproof and is still waiting for a reply, I think he will have a long wait

I haven't used any other full gloves so I cannot provide a comparison, I can only say what I've found. First off they are definitely water proof! The weather on the first ride I used them for was awful, a full 2 hours of heavy rain but they didn't let in a drop. I've also found them to be plenty warm enough too although I have not used them in very low temperatures.

You can be in danger of pulling the lining out if you take them off quickly (due to small perspiration left on your hands) but this is a small point and if you pull them off by the fingers bit by bit its fine. I would say (since I have fairly small hands for a guy) the fit is on the small side, if I fully open out my hand to stretch my fingers and thumb they pull across the heel of my thumb, but when my hand is in a closed position around the hoods they feel perfect, and that's what I bought them for. They're also very comfortable thanks to the padding they come with, while definitely not being bulky.

I got them for under the shown price here and think they are excellent value.

Great value for money...I agree with the review above that they are not the warmest available (Specialized Radiants are better for that), however, the Sealskinz do everything well and excel in the waterproofing department. Less bulky than other gloves on the market and have plenty of padding to help prevent numbness in the hands.

If I had to replace my Specialized Radiants and Sealskinz at the same time, I would go for the Sealskinz, in short...better padding, better waterproofing, warm enough for all but extreme cold and cheaper than the Radiants, as I said...better value for money.
