"Fully-featured with an excellent fit"

You name it, these gloves have it: they're windproof, showerproof, have excellent and well-placed gel padding, reflective trim - including piping on all fingers - plus a reflective Windstopper logo for real hi-viz performance.

The Velcro strap means they can be tightened down to fit your wrist, but it's wide enough to close over bulky sleeves - a real bonus. A nice detail is the clips on the gloves - not only does it mean you can't lose one while not wearing them, you could also attach them to your sleeves to keep them where they're needed. Rare in a glove, the Vulcano shows a little style in the maple-leaf shaped anti-slip material which is also well placed.

    I'm commenting on the fella's version of the Vulcano and found it very disapponting.

    After 1 month of constant use, daily rides from 1 hour plus 4 hour plus rides on the weekend I found the gloves to be wearing badly around the finger seams.

    Like FUNKY NOMAD's experience, the grippers fell off fast.

    I would also question the gloves' ability to block wind chill- I found them ineffective in anything near 'cold' weather. Also the water resistance was minimal.

    Only plus was a good fit.

    Excellent fit..about the only cold-ish weather glove I've had that do not feel like they're 2 sizes too big...They hug the hands all the way around without feeling tight. They also do an amazing job at cancelling out the wind chill..On the down side...I wouldn't want to go anywhere near O degrees C in them because your fingers will feel like they're going to drop off..and because of the close fit, you can forget about wearing undergloves no matter how thin they may be ....the funky rubbery grippers on the finger tips, grind off with your first ride.

    Excellent gloves for riding in temperatures above 3 degrees C
