First look: Lazer Urbanize commuter helmet

The Lazer Urbanize helmet addresses function with a built-in visor and removable head and tail lights. (Gary Boulanger)
Belgium-based Lazer have boldly entered the urban cycling market with a US$99 commuter helmet with snap-in lights and an overbuilt protective shell.
Called the Urbanize, it only has eight vents, so cooling could be an issue. The moulded visor helps keep sunlight and rain off the rider's face.
With Lazer's patented Rollsys retention system adjustment dial perched on top toward the rear of the helmet, riders can easily dial in a proper fit while wearing gloves. Our 494g L-XL sample included lights (you can buy the helmet without lights for $20 less).
Available in two sizes (XXS-M and L-XL), the Lazer Urbanize helmet isn't for everyone. The bulbous shell can be overpowering for some small-headed riders, but with a focus on function, it's good to see a helmet maker address the needs of commuters.
Available in Racing Red, Racing Blue, Pretty Pink, Lemon Green, Funky Blue, Espresso, White Mat and Black Mat, the Urbanize is CE, CPSC and AS approved for testing standards.

Lazer's patented Rollsys top-mount adjuster makes fit a snap, and the light switches are easy to use. It also bears an uncanny resemblence to a Sinclair C5

Has fit really been a problem with helmets in the last few years? I quite like the idea of a built-in light, but this is just too fugly.
I predict massive failure on this product.
