Scheduled in for 18 September 2016, the event is claimed to have some of the toughest, roughest, secretest, unridden and wild tracks the Moors have to offer. With old-skool DH tracks and the highest peaks marked out for the route, the event is going to be an absolute blast. The on-site pub at Lordstones Country Park is ready to lubricate your evening activities if you want to camp over and sleep the night before the race.

The MBUK team hit up the 'Ard Rock in 2015 and absolutely loved the event – "The 'Ard Rock is a race like no other" said deputy art editor Matt Orton, who is a fat bike fanatic. Jimmer, our art ed added that "it was one of the best weekends I've had riding and racing bikes, with a truly relaxed vibe and a hell of a lot of like-minded riders".

So, if that hasn't swayed you, we don't know what will! Get signed up for a cracking weekend – enter here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ard-moors-enduro-registration-21628080170

Alex has been riding bikes since he was knee-high to a grasshopper. He first raced back in 2003, winning the Juvenile category on a sketchy hard tail Planet X bike. Alex lived in the Alps for seven years so isn't shy of a climb or two and loves getting out in his bike in all weather. His favorite thing to ride is steep loamy tracks with loads of opportunities to slam the bike into turns and really give it some frame bending welly! He's broken his fair share of frames, so any bike between his knees is going to get a right seeing to.
