BikeRadar Live day two: Expectations exceeded!
By Matthew Cole | Saturday, May 30, 2009 6.40pm
We knew it was going to be big, but we were'nt expecting the first full day of BikeRadar Live to be this good.
After a chilled night at the Scott Sunset Sessions, watching the films in the big top and milling about at the bus bar all the BikeRadar Live happy campers awoke to blue skies and sunshine.

The Cycling Plus Sportive riders headed into the beautiful Peaks, while the Bike and Gear expo opened up for business. Not long into the morning, Martyn Ashton and his team on the Animal Relentless Bike Tour were showing off their skills to an excited crowd.
While not being entertained by the likes of the Onza trials team or getting skills tuition at the Cycle Active Skills School, many people checked out the dirt jumpers while they put on a show at an hour long demonstration.
Did i mention the Demo Bikes? The demos didn't stop all day - visitors were free to ride bikes from all the top manufacturers including Scott, Giant, Raleigh, Dahon and Brompton, all on the Donington race track. Meanwhile the mountain bike riders were hitting the sun-drenched purpose-built demo loop on bikes from Norco, Lapierre, Santa Cruz, Pronghorn, Marin and KHS.
