Swobo, the funky San Francisco-based bicycle lifestyle clothing brand, introduced its line of Swobo Street Bikes today.

Former Bianchi USA product manager/designer Sky Yaeger is the new Swobo director sportif, and she's continuing her eclectic stylings with three new Swobo urban models: the Sanchez, Otis and Folsom (named after random streets in downtown San Francisco).

Pricing is ridiculously low ($599, $699 and $499US, respectively) just how Yaeger (and prospective buyers, typically bike messengers and urban hipsters) likes it. Highlights include a glavanized steel road fixie (this from the same drawing board that gave us the chrome Bianchi Pista), a coaster-braking street MTB with front disk brake, and a styling 3-speed, all with no-nonsense aesthetics and a noticeable lack of self-promoting transfers. In typical Yaeger fashion, the Street Bikes were produced lickety-split, just five months after she switched teams. This includes a proprietary line of components called Cart, because according to Swobo, a shopping cart is the ultimate symbol of simple utility.

For more information, visit Swobo's website. Galvanized steel fixie?! Sheesh! `Quite likely one of the cleanest chassis upon which to stamp your own mojo,' indeed. Good on'ya, Sky.
