BMX fever hits the MBUK office!

Ric Mclaughlin Wednesday, Nov 7, 2007 12.00am

It may be the onset of winter (shorter days etc), the re-opening of Bath's BMX track or the copy of BMX Bandits Doddy found at the weekend but the MBUK team are currently all about the old-school bicycle moto-cross banter!

Doddy has begun to grumble about wind speeds and their effect on his performance on the fourth straight, Kim was getting big air on her first time out and new boy Ric has taken the front brake off his Charge to make things feel a bit more 'moto'.

BMX tracks offer excellent winter training as they're all about upper-body work and sprinting, they don't require a high-maintenance full-sus rig and they keep your bike skills dialled.

Worryingly however, the next logical step is high-waisted trousers and the use of the word 'rad'...
