How many policemen does it take to arrest a teenage cyclist?

Now, we all know that cycling on pavements is illegal. And, obviously, 19-year old Dinah Allen should have coughed up the £45 fine she was handed down for getting caught...

...But were 10 policemen and a day in the clink really necessary? I sound like my gran...it's political correctness gone mad...they should be catching murderers...

  • Hehe, yer journalism at its best- he should work for the daily wail.

  • That's what I like best about the piece - the 10 officers line and then the police statement contradicting the attention grabber...Oh the 'art' of journalism. It'll never catch on...

  • Apparently only 4 officers, and they arrested her sister at the same time for being a thief.....
