Monday Morning Glory
Ric McLaughlin Monday, Oct 26, 2009 10.42am
The ever-popular Giant Glory is back for 2010! Well, we say 'back', what you see here is a younger, prettier and skinnier Glory.
The Glory of old was a big hit with its winning combination of spot-on angles, bombproof construction and a race-ready build straight from the box. The problem, however, was always the bike's considerable girth.
This has been the main focus of Giant's extensive redesign effort. Gone is the hefty pierced downtube and heavy gussetting, it hasn't even got any paint on it!
The bike is covered in trick little details and the spec is even more race-focused than ever, and we think it looks amazing.
We've just finished waggling spanners at our test bike and haven't even had a chance to get her on the scales yet but stay tuned to an MBUK near you very soon to see how we get on...

Given how long I rode the old Glory for I'm testing this one for a First Ride first. In fact, I'm just going to buy a sarnie and then head out to the woods to tear the arse out of it a bit!
Long-termers TBC.
