Endura MT500 Bibshorts | $150
BikeRadar verdict
"A genuine mountain biking classic without a real weakness"
The MT500 is a superbly designed classic. Dual layer side panels are designed to slide over one another if you stack, while the contoured pad adds plenty of stretchy and breathable comfort.
The fabric is fast-drying, the strong Kevlar stitching is flatlock throughout to minimise ridges, and there are no seams along the inner leg to chafe as you pedal.
The silicone rubber leg grippers hold everything in place without irritation.
Mesh at the back of the bib section helps with ventilation, while wide straps keep pressure on your shoulders down. Available as a bib-less option for £65.

User review of Endura MT500 Bibshorts
I have 3 sets of the MT500 bibshorts. They are for the price probably the best you will get for MTB'ing.
They are however 2nd to my sets of Assos shorts. I've tried to convince myself they are just as comfy, but they are just not Assos...
Training for Marathon and Ultra Marathon events, multi stage MTB events you need ultra comfort, these MT500 go a long way to that.
They also seem little shorter on the leg than most shorts. At 1st I noticed that the shorts did not make good seat contact and allowed too much movement, ensure that these are pulled right up towards your backside and they work well.
All in all a 4 star performer - only beaten by the more pricier but super comfy Assos shorts.
