Ergon GR2 Carbon Grips (10) | $122.46
BikeRadar verdict
"Perfect grips for epic cross-country rides"
The GR2 is Ergon’s top-of-the-line ergonomic grip, complete with angle adjustable carbon fibre stubbie bar ends.
The flattened and flared section fits under the heel of your palm and – thanks to some clever tuning of compound, shape and texture – the grips are immediately comfortable.
They’re held with a single 4mm Allen bolt, which also locks the angle of the bar end to the position of your choosing.
The GR2s are a must-have for long rides where it’s important to have fresh hands with unpinched nerves after three or four hours of riding. Transition from bar to bar end is the smoothest available and makes climbing as near a pleasure as possible.

WMB are bang on the money here. Been using the GR2s (magnesium version) for a few years and they're fantastic for day-long rides over mixed terrain. While I prefer skinnier grips for short blasts and more technical stuff, they give me serious palm ache and dead outer fingers after more than a couple of hours hard riding.
The GR2s are astonishingly comfortable - if you take time to set them up correctly - and offer surprisingly good control when things get a little rougher. While I wouldn't recommend them for hardcore downhill riding, you can still hang on to the bike through moderate rock gardens and into biggish drops. The innovative packaging even allows you to try them for size (yes, they offer different sizes and women's versions) before you buy.
The other great thing about these grips is that they remind you just how useful a decent set of bar-ends can be. Whether really cranking on a climb or just reducing fatigue by shifting hand position, well set up cowhorns can add a lot to your ride. And is it me, or do they help open your chest out for easier breathing on climbs too?
If your primary riding style is XC, enduro or just all day exploration trips these are well worth the investment.

Did the Trans Rockies on them this year, no numb fingers or fatigue and no slippage during an extremely wet and cold event.
Been riding with them for 4 years now excellent piece of kit.

I have these on my flatbar Pinnacle Expede Street. Really comfy. I had no idea they cost so much after-market, but they are the best grips I've used on any bike.
