Incase’s new Range Collection commuter focused bags are inspired by cyclists, and built for them, according to the manufacturer.
The Range bags sport a minimalist aesthetic, but are built to be robust and durable. Incase say that rider comfort, and device protection were key functional considerations. In total, the Range line is comprised of five bags: standard and large messenger bags, standard and large backpacks, and an iPhone case.
Bag size corresponds to computer size needs, where as the standard backpack fits a 15in MacBook, and the large fits a 17in MacBook; the messenger bags are slightly smaller and rated for 13in and 15in computers. The bags range in price from US$29.95 for the iPhone case to $149.95 for the large backpack; the standard size and both messenger bags fall within that range.
The bags are said to offer, additional, storage areas with easy access, and Incase proven device protection. Incase paid special attention to the cycling-specific use of the Range line, and offer flexible carrying solutions and a variety of sizes and styles with in the line. The Range Collection bags have been designed to ensure maximum comfort — and content protection — even when fully loaded.
Each piece features durable twill construction with weather-resistant coating. On the inside, the Range Messenger Bag features a tarp lining, and for comfortable transport it offers a padded, adjustable shoulder strap with a quick release system that can be configured for both right- and left-handed users.

The backpack features padded shoulder straps and an adjustable sternum strap for added stability while the padded mesh back panel provides added breathability. And for additional protection against the elements the Range Backpack features a cinch collar.
High-visibility reflective details and safety light attachment points can be found throughout the line to increase visibility and safety day or night, rain or shine.
And finally, each bag in the Range Collection is equipped with a padded, faux-fur lined compartment for securing a computer, quick-access stash pockets, and additional accessory pockets, including a U-lock utility pocket.
