Rollapaluza heading for Mud Dock, Bristol

By Matthew Cole

Mud Dock Cafe in Bristol, UK, is hosting an evening of roller racing on Thursday, 5 November.

Two cyclists at a time will battle it out on a pair of vintage rollers connected to a huge dial.

They will cover a simulated 500m distance at speeds in excess of 50mph.

The event, organised in association with Iron Horse bikes and Rollapaluza, will run from 7pm to 11pm.

All contestants will race on customised Iron Horse Transit bikes, with the fastest man and woman on the night winning a Rollapaluza race bike.

Iron Horse will also be showing off models from their 2009 range.

All cyclists are welcome, from commuters to mountain bike riders and everything in between, and there will be drinks promotions and food available too.

Entry is free. For more information, go to rollapaluza.commud-dock.co.uk and i-ride.co.uk.
