Just spoke to a cyclist from North Yorkshire, he's ashamed to be from the same county as Martin.

Perhaps a Pro rider say Wiggins should invite Martin to join him on a ride. It might give him an appreciation of what is like to be on a bike with knobs in cars driving dangerously right behind his rear wheel as well as show Martin up as lardy assed ignorant slob.

As a businessman and chef his remarks aren't the best, nothing like damaging your brand/image. Gerald Ratner springs to mind. SrAllan would not be impressed being a cyclist himself "Martin your fired."

Martin is a weapons grade fool. I had the bad judgement to sit through his quest to complete the mille miglia in an £800k Maserati. His treatment of his (female) pro racing driver was cringeworthy, he actually wondered out loud if he should let a woman loose on his precious car (despite having no racing experience himself). Thankfully he failed to complete the race and wasted hundreds of thousands of pounds in the process!

Clarkson is mostly a liberal baiting parody of a car worshipping tool - Martin it seems didn't get the joke and is aiming to be the real thing.

As Croxted A mentioned, since the Mille Miglia documentary I haven't liked him for his attitude - how he could choose a woman racing driver then humiliate her in front of the cameras is beyond belief. I suspect if he had chosen a male driver he'd most probably have been punched in the face. He's a coward.
