We recently had the garage and downstairs loo done in the LuxTouch range from Pietra Firma. It's really nice. There is a nice tactile feel to it.

QS are really on the slide. Could Omega-Lotto become Belgian's top squad in 2010?

They have the winners of the last two Flanders (who gets nothing but ridicule here for some reason), the last Roubaix and the last two Belgian champions. They haven't lost anyone of note in the close season. Where is this slide?

Was thinking the same myself cant really see how it can be defined as a slide, ok so Boonens sprint is maybe on the wane but they still nailed Flanders and Roubaix fling in Barredos San Sebastien win then surely for a Belgian classics team thats success .

I hate it when I cannot ride to work, even if is raining really hard I still love it. I recently bought a P7 torch light from DX and it is great riding in the dark, cars give me more room and wait for me to pass at junctions. Life's good!

Guys.... you all need to take a step back and think a little...

You are more than likely a grown man , your dressed in lycra.....by default YOU DO NOT LOOK COOL to anyone. Well perhaps you do to a few other grown men also dressed in lycra . Granted the ladys may well be gazing at your toned buns and thighs and barely concealed trouser monster but they dont for one minute think that you look cool ......

Sorry. and yes I wear lycra.

as for the practicalities of cycling .I carry a pump , food ,cash, phone and keys in my pockets and a tube , patches chain tool ,links ,knife, tyre levers and a multi tool in my saddle bag.
Have a word with Pat McQuaid at the UCI headquarters in Switzerland, no doubt he can provide you with a retrospective banning order on everyone involved. What happened, happened. Action was taken. Once the issues were dealt with and 'sentences' served (and indeed Wegelius and Southam will not ride for Britain again and do not seek to) then the individuals are free to take up their profession again. Such is the nature of justice, it is a sword that is dealt impartially. Then again, swords might not be much use on a horse, I suggest a Lance perhaps? Sleep tight.

After a fair bit of on line research and of course advice from this forum I have decided on the following.

Ambrosia Excellight Rims
Sapim Cx-Ray spokes
Extralight Ultra SX Hubs

Thanks for the advice.

Yeah I'm definitely considering building a 3-speed 1930s-esque racer thing at some point in the future.

Mind you, I'm considering building just about every type of bike possible

Intergrated headsets are just as easy to replace as non intergrated.

If anything they're slighly cheaper to replace because as has already been said they don't come with headset cups, you simply drop the new cartridge bearings straight into the headtube.

(On one occasion they did mention punctures to the fabric - I had fallen in a hawthorne bush, but they still found it was faulty).

I am not making out that the warranty covers items that you break or mistreat, but its fairly easy to follow the care instructions. If the product fails due to materials or manufacture, and you haven't damaged it, they replace it. I don't think your post contradicts this. I am not sure why you would tell them you washed it contrary to the instructions if it had no effect, but credit to you for your honesty

I have found their products do fail, possibly as often as other brands, but the distinctive feature is the warranty.
