does anyone have any ideas on the above...

I've got a Yeti 575 frame in the post with a Tapered head tube 1.5" to 1.125"
Fox 32 TALAS fork with 1 18 steerer
Hope 1.5 Step Down Headset.. which I'm told will work!

Have I f*cked up!!

I'm sure you know this, but 1 1/8 is the same as 1.125.

From Hope's website I'm not sure if the step down is for putting a 1.125 fork in a 1.5 headtube, or for what you want. Sorry.

if you put the bottom half of the 1.5 stepdown headset on the bottom and the 1.125 on the top you should be fine

Sorted, wasn't gonna risk it so I found a frame with a standard 1 1/8 head tube.. why change what isn't broke!
