i can recommend Rudy Project helmets.

I use my Kontact for road riding, but it comes with a removeable peak.

Not sure if other models do, as the Kontact is no longer made it would seem.

Very light, and very comfy.

the op is simply looking for a helmet that he likes the look of, I don't see a problem in that, certainly no reason to call him a moron. At least he wants to wear a helmet, the real morons are the people who ride without protection.
