Tomac Sniper?
They are all great bikes for any style of riding - get bolt through forks and two wheel sets and you can swap between "downhill" and XC easily. I'd go for a new Heckler.

if i had the money/space/requirement id happily buy the new enduro, its well specced, good looking and now the sus is regular fox kit it'll be bob on id have thought.
Plus, i really like the fsr setup.
