....for Ribble to deliver in stock components? This isn't intended as a knocking thread and I don't want it to turn into one!!! I ordered quite a few bits and pieces (mainly new drivetrain parts) last Wednesday which were all apparently in stock. It's the first time I've used Ribble since they built my bike for me 15 years or so back (fantastic servive at that time and an excellent build btw) so I was just wondering what people's experience is of their delivery times? I'm not sure who they use as a courier. I have tried phoning but they have been engaged (would be useful to have a bigger telephone exchange and an option to hold maybe?) and I am waiting for a reply to my email. Hoping to get everything by Saturday to have my bike running smoothly on Sunday. Cheers.

Bits take 2/3 days normally.

during the postal strike they are using Parcel Force for shipping, with a £1 extra charge. The last time I used them the email saying it was dispatched was sent the day after the goods were received. Confused

My experience is if you order Monday, you should get them Wed/Thurs - but they were stocktaking lst week so maybe weren;t processing orders?

Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

Thanks - didn't see any option for Parcel Force when I ordered. Hopefully they'll get back to my email.

I don't want to turn this into a knocking thread, but Ribble don't really do replies to emails.

Ribble were closed for stocktaking for a few days - Oct 30th - Nov 2nd, which will have caused delays to their normal turn-around on orders.

I've used them quite a few times, and while not astoundingly fast, they've always delivered within a reasonable timescale. I'd happily use them again. Very Happy
