I've dropped to 15th.
Instead of keeping my position I might be lucky to stay in the top-20 this month.

Yup. Get them miles in.
Share your SC Stats. Who's done the most miles? |

So should I wait for the reset or guestimate my milage so far this year?

wait for the reset! The numbers only have any interest on a month by month basis and many of us have been battling for certain positions (eg top 30 for me) for most of the year - its a bit dispiriting when someone sticks up a massive number right at the end of the year. That said, if you know your miles, there is no rule against it, so do what you need to...

I'd just guestimate... anywhere around 7k will slot you in nicely to the top 3.
Well due to work commitments, I'm unlikely to get my leg over a top tube for the rest of the month. Unless Prawny's freehub is completely funked I'll be well out of the top 20 come December.
