Will the two go together?! Appreciate I will need a top bar but would like some advice before I shell out £100 on one.

I get my Pitch on a saris bones rs ok without a top bar - not sure how different it is to the saris bones 2.
It's not ideal as the weight seems to be much more on one side than the other, but I've never had a problem with it. Have thought about getting the false top tube thing before.
