isnt 900 lumens a massive achievment from an LED light ?

They are great lights, i rode with mine last night, amazing value for money.
Just a suggestion for Ebay, if you can edit the title and include MagicShine in the title, lots of people know them as the magicshine, i tried to find some the other day but no hits, you might get more interest

They are really really good for the money, way brighter than my hope vision 2 which cos 3 times as much. They also look and perform very like the lupine tesla 5 which sells here for £325.
In my opinion you really cant go wrong |
Hi all, am i thinking these are the same light, or different??
Cheers, Hodgy.

Rode sherwood pines with mine last night - bought direct from Deal Extreme in HK - was MUCH better than anyone else's £multiple-hundreds lights.
Check out

There are 2 versions on the DX website, the Magicshine one & aonther that looks identical even down to the box albeit without the Magicshine brand but the no-name one has a helmet mount http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.29489

When buying mine I have also bought the extra strappy arrangment that you mention for exactly that helmet mounting, like ravey 1981 says you gotta think outside the box but I thought for only $1.99 if its crap then in the bin it goes.

Anyone know if the DX light beam pattern is good for road riding ie commuting? Does the beam pattern dazzle drivers? Or does the light have to be run in the lower power setting.
thanks
shame the rider doesn't match the bike... |
