Had my bike 1 year and have just had to replace a broken chain. Should I replace cassette too?

Ideally you would need a chain wear tool to find out if you have over worn the chain. Probably easiest to fit the chain and try it. You will soon know the answer.

if the new chain jumps then yes.

buy couple more chains. Keep it clean. rotate every 400 miles or couple of months and they will last for ages... and cheaper in the long run...

if you do that though, avoid breaking the chain(s), use sram power links, or you'll comprimise strength and snap your chain(s).
