I'm confused; what exactly was the problem with the picture? No environmental personalisation permitted? Yeah, like that keeps people loyal and motivated.

AT - once again, I think you have hit the nail on the head with a nuclear bomb!
Had to remove my Gary Larson "Far Side" bits too - and the Viz comic strip "The Vibrating bum faced goats"

It seems your bosses have no sense of humour.
Desktop wise my crew are unable to change their backgrounds from the set RN wallpapers, but as far as photos and posters go as long as they are not deemed to be racist or otherwise offensive on the grounds of gender, sexuality etc, I will pretty much turn a blind eye unless we have an inspection due, in which case the crew know to clear the decks.
I have drawn the line at pictures from Nuts and Zoo magazine, because I personally find them offensive even if some of the women in my crew say they don't mind.
Gary Larson is popular with many staff across the base.

Nil Illigitimi Carborundum, if you don't mind. There's always more than one Illigitimus who's trying to carborundum. |
Or even 'nil illegitimi carborundum'

That is the cutest dog.... I love dogs... Can't stand bloody cats. Can you bring him/her to the Morpeth? I'd definitely turn up...

Why not have some new ones up
You don't have to be mad to work here but it helps

Failures do what is tension relieving, while winners do what is goal achieving.
In adversity, remember to keep an even mind.

Cori - the pedant's pedant |
Shouldn't that be "pedants' pedant"?
