Hello all,
A friend has asked me if the GT Force 3.0 is a good trail centre type bike. He's been offered a 2nd hand one for a good price. I know nothing much about them. I'm away to do some internet research on it now but would like to hear from the good folks here what they think of it.
He's a big guy but doesn't ride that aggresively. He's only just getting his wheels off the ground.
Thanks in advance.

I had one (albeit briefly) and it's a stonking good ride!!!!
The i-drive system is brill, and set correctly it's like riding a hardtail, virtually NO pedal bob...
I found that the front end was a little high compared to the back, but a lot of people queried that...... but I had a Force 1 do the set-up components were a bit different.
I know ride a Sanction (virtually same frame, just with tweaked/more relaxed geo and extra gusseting and it's AWESOME)
It's a great machine, a good frame to build on for an all-day trail weapon!!

My I-drive is a different model but I love the suspension design, it's a full suss for people like me that don't like full suss. Very effective, very clever.
We still do it because we're forever chasing what we've already found |
