no real experience myself- although i have friends who have met their current GFs on it
i wouldn't use it as your only means of dating though- thats a bit desperate......but as another string to your bow- sure why not- try it out

Oi, there's absolutely nothing wrong with women who stay in bed until midday at weekends.

There's only one girl in the world for you
And she probably lives in Tahiti

Anyone know how that one worked out? |
It was great, but I think the fact that we never actually met each other put a bit of a dampener on the relationship....

Yeah, that's the issue with internet dating, so many men send endless love poetry and limericks but then when it comes down to it they're all talk...

Sounds like someone has numerous suitors

meeting people helps, also places your not nessarly on the pull i met my wife on of all places a geeky part of already geeky part of the internet, usenet.
a few years back folks met for a get together + meal like they do most years and I needed somewhere to stay so she offered to put me up and all started from there.
as dating it had a low probablity as women must around the 1% mark for that group.

I remember when a female friend of mine who wasn't particularly hot set herself up on a dating website. She said that she was getting so many messages she simply couldn't read them (something like 200 in the first few days). A few other female friends have also described similar experiences to me. All she did was look at their photos and reply to the best looking 2 or 3.
Every morning on the radio I hear adverts for a website called eHarmony. They are pushing it massively; the ads seem to be aimed at women. Might be worth a try, although my best friend signed up on it recently and I think he is paying something stupid like £30 a month for it. After almost a month he apparently has 2 women chatting with him through the site (both still don't want direct contact), but I get the impression he isn't overly impressed with the experience.
