PBK 'Iron' sunglasses in Crystal Blue with 5 interchangeable lenses. BRAND NEW and with tags.
I ordered these as a spare pair, but my other pair are still going strong after a year of abuse, so have decided to sell the unused pair - still with tags and stickers on all the spare lenses. Wore an identical pair around the 112 mile Ironman bike leg and on training rides ranging from rainstorms and hail to 26 degree sunshine, so can vouch for their versatility!
Comes with 5 lenses:
Transparent (92% light) Protection of the eyes against dust
Yellow (85% light) Low light conditions, indoor
Blue (66% light) Partly cloudy, overcast
Orange (37% light) Changing light and shadow, forest, variable weather
Smoke (10% light) Bright sunny conditions, ideal for winter days
Includes soft glasses bag and hard case with tag, as shown in photo
They say:
"PBK Iron sunglasses come with five interchangeable lenses made from lightweight , high impact resistant polycarbonate. Offering 100% protection against U.V and A&B light, all PBK sunglasses meet and surpass EC safety standards. PBK Optical Quality lenses will safeguard your eyes from the adverse effects of sunlight, wind and glare. Using lightweight and highly impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses with a decentered base these sunglasses meet the highest standard of optical and safety. Optifit technology enables swift lens changes to cope with any given lighting condition."
Whatever that means....
RRP is £34, but they have one pair left (in a diff colour) on their website for £18.50, so save a fiver - £13.50 posted first class recorded delivery? Only ever been taken out of protective case to take this photo!
Also for sale a Thomson Elite stem for standard size bars, -10 degree rise (can be flipped over), 90mm long. Used but immaculate bar one or two tiny marks that just about show up on the photos - came off a 'nearly new' bike I bought - I needed to put narrower bars on it and my LBS only had oversize ones, so the stem got changed. Been saving it just in case, but seen a cycling jacket I want...so.....
Friendly bike guru tells me these are around £70 new, so £40 plus postage? Am guessing postage will be about £5 if sent Special Delivery.
Thanks!
