Ribbles latest magazine advert has a new-look frame, the 2009 Sportive frame (red black white) was out of stock when I asked a couple of weeks ago, and now there does appear to be a new frame (black and white) to replace the old red/black/white frame.
Still waiting for an email reply from Ribble about the availability of the 2009 Carbon Sportive.

Been in the Ribble shop this morning, had a word with the guy. They are still continuing with the 2009 red/black Carbon Sportive frame, along side the new white/black frame as pictured in their new ad. Must say that the new frame does look better, particularly the rear traingle, which has some nice fluting on the stays  Still prefer the red/black paint-job though.

I've had my sportive/ultegra for around 4 months, done about 1500 miles and it's been brilliant. Very comfortable, easy riding, very little road buzz, light, and it's good climber. Can't really say how it compares with other similar bikes as my old one was a 1980's steel peugeot. People will always say the bike they have is the best it's human nature. Overall I am more than happy with it, and think it was the best £1100 I have spent in a long while.

Ditto above. Not had chance to do that many miles on mine yet but love it. Just had a look at the new frame and it looks great too. The bike flies along on the road, my legs need building up for the hills. I usually plod along on my galaxy at 15-16mph av', on the ribble my best for my 11 mile commute was 21.8mph, av'.

I've put around 1100 miles on my Sportive which I got in the summer and it's a very nice ride. Like skinson I can't compare it to other similar models though as it's the only carbon bike I've ridden.
I got mine when it was £1k with Centaur and I think I got a screaming bargain. Even at the current price it (or the Gran Fondo) has got to be the best value on the market.

I ordered the Ribble Ribelle but it had sold out. i was offered the Gran Fondo ( Black and White paint job) and was told this is the new Ribelle and promptly ordered.

Like some of the other posters, I got mine back in May & have over 1000 miles on it, Centaur on mine, so fantastic value.
My first carbon bike & not ridden any others for the same cost, but it is light, great climber & descender (shame you can't say the same about the rider).
Specced mine with 170mm cranks & compact chainset, may upgrade the wheels next year though nothing wrong with them, and maybe a carbon seat post.
Put a Selle Italia SLR 2nd hand saddle on it for 30 quids as well.
Previous bike an alu Specialized Allez with carbon fork, huge difference in the smoothness of the ride.
And I had excellent service from Ribble as well.
