Gents, following on from THIS thread I was wondering who out there is using these pads and what your thoughts are. While they are nice and cheap, I really don't want to buy 4 pairs of duff pads Laughing

Comments please....

I've been using SS Sintered in my Avid Ultimates for 18 months absolutely no problems.I won't buy any other pads. They're the only ones i've found that last in the Dark peak. They had issue a couple of years back but all is now good. Some people find them too hard but i like that in a pad.
I've just bought some Hope Tech M4s and bought some SS Sintered for when the stock ones wear out Cool

Well with the guarantee SS offer I wouldn't worry about getting a duff set.

I've been running SS pads on both the MTBs for a couple of years now and not a single issue.

Best customer service in the business as well.

Well I've ordered four pairs for £20 - not a bad deal tbh, I'll report back later once fitted and abused Smile

I replaced my avids in my J7s, with SS the only issue is that they don't have angled insert pins, so it takes about 20secs longer to fit them.

Well I think I can cope with that, considering the price difference! Laughing
