tyres on my specialized

the tyres on my specialized hardrock 2010 disc are the specialized 26" X 2.0
would 2.4 or 2.6
inch tyres fit >??

its where i belong, on a bike and in mid air
head forward staring at the ground ready to come down

Specialized tyres are big for their stated size and the 2.0 's are nearer 2.2's for a lot of other manufacturers. I did fit 2.4 nobby nics on my old hardrock for a while with no problems. out of interest, Why do you need such wide tyres ?

because i go off road like 4 times a week and otherwise they wear down too easy i was advise to get that sort of size

Unless you have plenty of weight to give you traction you will not need wide tyres, especially while conditions are so wet at the moment.

My first priority in a tyre is grip, not wear that's probably last.

If I put some 2.4 tyres on the bike at the moment I'd probably be using my face as a brake more often. Laughing

Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
