I live in Rushwick, and go biking on the Malverns, and the Suckley Hills...
Have got the same problem, mates always "Can't be bothered".
Only 16, ride quite often, have got a Giant Yukon FX1.

Malvern?!?!?! AAARRGGHH! I never want to go anywhere near that area again. I had a near FATAL accident on the beacons a few years ago and nearly fell to my death!
Please do take CARE up on the beacons if you are going up there, some NASTY difficult jagged rocks up there!
KK.

I've been trying to get a mate to the Malverns but the extra 20mins each way in the car puts him off, his wife doesn't want him that far away LOL
I get there a few times per year, normally take the bike when I've got a client near or something.
Malverns are a definately MUST ride when it snows to, some cracking riding up there in deep snow, gets it and holds it better than anything else around here.
Turrican / Yeti you'll like your bike on some of the straight but as fast as you like rocky descently with normally something to launch of at the bottom.
