Hi,

Whilst examining the reign today, I noticed that there was a small amount of vetical movement in the suspension (no lateral), after a good look around, it appears that it's comming from the top of the fox rp2 shock where it meets the linkage, is this what is referred to as the du bush? And if so what parts are required and whats the best way to get it replaced - i'm not a numpty with a spanner but i don't work for maclaren f1 either.

Thanks

J

a DU bush, the bit with the redish colour (this a manitou one).

typical mounting hardware.

a typical mounted shock

so yes it could be the DU bush or the mounting hard wear or even the bolt.

order them from TF tuned they're upgraded to heavy duty ones so don't wear out as quickly, check the website for details.

Thanks for the pics and info.

I popped the shock off and took it down to the Giant Shop in Bristol. The kind mechanic replace the du bush for not much mulla.

He did mention that there was a little bit of play in the mounts but just to replace them when the bush goes again, it be the heavy duty ones next time.

Great sevice from the Giant guys (on a Sunday too!!!) and they were really knowedgable and chatty. Will going back there in the future.
