I would love to find some nice places to ride with my dad at the weekend, willing to travel up to 1:30 for a good ride. We like aggresive XC, as difficult as you like, but not DH, 4x or anything like that.

Been over to Thetford and blasted round the trails there? Some good loops near Rutland Water (as well as the route round reservoir itself).

Also look at my website (link in my sig) - you can search for trail centres by style of riding.
