Do you think I'd be seen from the side? (I'm the one stretching my leg), and that's my bike
with the spoke reflectors.

Just to say Probikekit's returns procedure works well, I had to send one of my DISCO Spokelit thingies back because something was up with it (I couldn't get it out of the "Try Me" mode so it'd always just turn off after a minute or so).
Anyone else who has a varying-colour disco one, does it only flash in red? I'm assuming the chip running the LED isn't clever enough to vary the voltages while it's flashing, so we always just get red which is at the beginning of the colour sequence...?

bum. just got my spokelits yesterday but now I notice they're only for 32/36h wheels. Have donated them to another commuter in the dept. Going to have lighty-up-wheels envy now.

was there no way to cheat somehow with the holes and cable ties - or are your spokes just too far apart?

they might have been do-able right up at the hub but I think to get any real visibility they need to be out there near the rim...

Yeah, mine only flashes red too. I have it on constant though most of the time.

Fair enough - shame!
They're very cool, I've seen some pedestrians turn their heads obviously to follow me, and that was just with the one on the front... I'd love to see a video of myself from a car, maybe I should set mine up somewhere with headlights on, record some video in my compact camera and just pootle around in front.... Hmmm.

Mine are great, but the batteries do seem to go pretty quick. I found a seller on eBay who does 10 for £1.98, delivered. I'd advise buying in advance.

Oooh dont think that blue lights are a fantastic idea. You may get them confiscated by the police.
Tyreflys for a quid or two - I've yellow ones. Superglue them to your valve caps and you're good to go. very visible from the side.

I find having a light on my helmet and shining directly at any cars sat in side roads does wonders for self preservation.
