I have the chance to buy a Fausto coppi 7005 however I am not sure if they are upto anything. Has anyone got any advice or know the rough value of this particular bike it is 4-6 years old,just so as I don`t get ripped off.

I think 7005 probably refers to the type of aluminium used? The name of the bike should be written on the top-tube.
From memory the low-end ones were pitifully specced, but the high end ones were very well regarded. I have the Tiagra equipped Lombardia from 2002 which I think was the tipping point.
