Surely if the code applies the discount and you click accept on that price they have to honour it?

Might be worth calling them tomorrow.

Do you know why it wasn't accepted? I've just pumped the code in at the checkout and it does take 10% off the total?

EDIT: It does bump it off again when you go to pay though Crying or Very sad

Hey-ho, I've still saved £25 on a jacket with them, compared to my local LBS and other sites I've visited Very Happy

Never used them before (normally Wiggle & CRC for me every time), but worth a punt IMO.

Got an email from them; the jacket I ordered isn't actually in stock, so have to wait a week until arrives from their suppliers Rolling Eyes

Very annoying advertising stock on your website when you don't in fact have it in stock Confused

I don't doubt that they're a good bunch there at all. It's just annoying when you want something quickly and then have to wait for it. Had it shown on the website that it wasn't in stock, like you get at CRC & Wiggle, I may have ordered elsewhere. They did offer an alternative colour, but I want the colour that I ordered.

Actually, I wouldn't have ordered elsewhere as they were by far the cheapest for that particular jacket! Laughing But that's not the point at all.

I'm also after some winter gloves & waterproof 3/4 length shorts and I'm still considering using Tredz again. I haven't been put off totally......yet!

I don't use Tredz online as their Cardiff store is under 1/4 mile away from me and they get stuff from their Swansea location in for me to collect. Staff are great and the bonus is they are open on Sunday's.

If ordering something online and if you need it quickly, I'd advise calling first to check stock before placing your order.

It's worth emailing Tredz regarding any gripes (like the voucher code problem), that way at least they will be made aware of any issues and have a chance to rectify them.

I'm getting there, in my own time!

This. Although they didn't have in stock a jersey I wanted, it was available on-line. Sent me the wrong colour (It may actually been me making the error when ordering). They sent the correct one to the Cardiff store for me to exchange with the one they'd sent me. Quick, easy, no fuss or hassle.

They were also extremely helpful trying to find me a TT bike for under the £1k cycle-to-work scheme limit.

Also, as an added bonus, they're open till 18:00 and on my commute route home...

I have lots of bikes!

I ordered a Toppeak beam rack of them last year, they then E - mailed me saying it wasn't in stock . I mailed them back advising that I had specifically ordered the rack for a weekend trip.

To Tredz credit they managed to source one and sent it out by courrier Friday for Saturday delivery and as a gesture of goodwill they threw in a waterbottle, a £5.00 voucher and the sides for the Topeak Beamrack which have an rrp of £20.00.

I ordered gloves form them over a week ago. Attempted twice and failed twice when ordering online, which maybe a mac browser issue, though not had trouble elsewhere. Due to problems I phoned to order, they took order and didn't advise of delay or that they were out of stock.

Chased a week later and they said they're getting them in in the next few days. The website should indicate stock levels, but didn't, ok fair enough, but you'd think they might have said when I call them up and place an order...

Well after making an order (during sorting out the 10% code issue), being told it was in stock I get an email next day to call them. So I do and low and behold theyre outa Spesh FSR XC Pro's until Febuary... ouch I think, time to cancel the order Sad

Then they offer me lesser alternatives such as the expert and comp but then offer a Stumpy Comp with a mahooooooooooosive discount (20% off) which I just couldnt turn down.

Cracking customer service Wink

I`ve 2 experiences of them. The first one was postive,in that I ordered a PC991 chain and they sent me the hollow pin version for the same price.Probaly not intentional on ther part, but I was quite happy.
Second experience was when I tried to order a bike for my daughter`s xmas present.Showed in stock ,onlinebut then got a call to say they couldn`t get one in time.
At least they called in good time so I could go elsewhere.

I phoned them today to check stock, placed an order and the goods got posted today, simple.

The internet seems to have affected people's ability to use the phone, if you're in a real rush for something surely two mins on the phone is worth the hassle.

I bought my bike from them a couple of years back. Everything went smooth!

The bike went pretty drastically wrong (though I assign no blame to Tredz) within a year, I tried to contact them and get advice on warranty repairs, and had no reply.

Its a shame actually as I am contemplating a new purchase before Xmas and I would love to use them again due to the great packaging/delivery quality. But I can't reward a company for not replying to a customer, even if the customer was reaching a little Smile

I'm yet another one that has recieved several phone calls to say the item(s) are not in stock, it's actually nice of them to give that kinda personal service rather than most companies that would just email only, but ultimately, I prefer companies that have in/out of stock info on their website, even though I'm aware that don't guarantee nothing if it's not up to date.

I stopped using them after this one time they told me my order was late but would be dispatched soon, it was the singletrack shorts by Endura, in the end, it turned out they were not expecting these to be in stock for months, so I had been lied to initially.

My top 3 for efficient and prompt service, in no particular order are CRC, Wiggle and Merlin.

I haven't got the foggiest idea what I'm doing!
