Just ruined the left FSA GOSSAMER CRANK by... pedaling my bike.
The pedal worked loose from the crank and stripped all the thread from the inside of the crank in the process. It did not unscrew, it just stayed in the crank and stripped the inside bare. I did not over tighten it duing assembly. It was installed with anti-seaze grease. It has not been crashed.
The aluminium appeas to be too soft - does anyone know if this is true?
(ive come across alot of online forums complaning of problems with FSA gossemer cranks coming loose from the BB, but not the pedal).
Im a bit annoyed about this as Ill have to buy another complete crankset. Even if it was possible to buy a replacement left crank arm, im not sure I would want it..
Anyone else with similar problems?

You can get a helicoil fitted to save your crank - if your LBS can't do it, try Highpath Engineering
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
