Had this happen on the commute the other night. A cyclist whipped past me, thro the red lights I was slowing down for and 200m on he had gone into the side of an oncoming car that had been flashed to turn in front of the stationary traffic. The motorists forget about the cycle/bus lane, assuming the motorist who flashed their light is aware of traffic behind them. Couldn't help thinking tho' that if the cyclist had waited with me he wouldn't have took a trip to hospital

Going straight through a box junction on a green light, a car coming towards me decides to turn right thereby crossing the centre line and into my path. I'm doing about 35kph and I slam into the side of his classic british racing green MG Rover. I somersault over the car and land on my head and an very thankful I was wearing a helmet (helmet debaters p!ss off I'm not concerned with your views). I lie there groggy and kinda stagger to my feet. He had pulled over and comes over to me and goes ... wait for it ....
"Are you OK? I have somewhere to be in 10 minutes"
No prizes for guessing the language that came out of my mouth.
Oh and this was in broad daylight, during rush hour traffic in London on a busy road. Do you think anyone stopped? Of course not

i hope you left a good dent in the car.was it a man or woman btw. speaking of responses the one i got from the wife in the passenger seat was 'you should be careful when riding a bike.and look out for cars.' and not wanting to hang about 'ive got my young kids in the car'. this is after they drove into my side from behind after they thought the give way was where the road went. maybe if there young kids are in the car they should look where they are going. my shoes nearly melted beneath me.

Damn, that's where I've been going wrong. Everything will be so much better once I do that!

Completely unrelated and off-topic (and if the answer is no, I will look silly) but are you quoting Calvin & Hobbs?
