As above, which is the best one. Does anyone know if the CB one will be available by christmas?

Gravity Dropper, /thread Wink Ugly, a wee bit heavy, but on the other hand it actually works well and reliably.

We still do it because we're forever chasing what we've already found

Very Ugly though!

I had a i850 for test and was abysmal, and weighed a tonne

The Pure Racing KS i7 is out, feb-march next year, may be worth the wait if you want a proper drop post, not a spring clip affair like the gravity dropper.

The other option which very few people know about is from a Small spanish company called Blacx, they do a 110mm Jewel AM, in 27.2, works out quite expensive though due to the crap exchange rate, but is the "best" available at the moment at a premium though.

Will it be as reliable as the 900? Laughing

With a nice goove down the back of your post, i hope not!

Crank brother deciding not to do the joplin in 27.2 has got to make you think though.

The Blacx is on my Xmas list.

There is rumours that Syntace are testing a 27.2 dropper post, not able to find any solid details though. Imagine a carbon dropper. <dribbles>

does anyone have a blacx post?

I thought a dropper because they'd be a good xmas/b-day prezzie because i'm never going to buy one for myself!

The Blackx is lovely isn't it... Bit weighty though? Actually heavier than a Gravity Dropper Turbo, which is going some. The extra travel's good though, 100mm's enough most of the time but sometimes you want a wee bit more.

half of the working for the Pure Racing 27.2 version are outside the post. I looks horrendous!

The Cane creek double barrel / DX5 / most shocks have a external reservoir and we have got used to the look of that, i think the nasty rubber boot on the gravity dropper looks worse.

True, but the 30.9 Pure Racing post looks really lush!

Yeah i agree, Joplin and Maverick also looked really nice.

Gonna keep my eye on how things progress, until then stick with my Carbon Post and Qr lever!
