Are these the same ones???

Seem to have gone up since last week, I'm sure they were around £20 as I was going to buy some for a spare bike. But I decided to buy food instead.
They are not lighter than your standard ones, but they are rubbish. (assuming they are the standard toe clip things)

I might be wrong - that's what I read in your list of specs.
Do they look like this

or this with moulded pins

or this with removable pins

Either of the first two get some like the last ones.

The moulded pins are pretty rubbish. Get removeable pins -
Not the best but an improvement over what you have. Unless you have really big feet.

Whats your tyre budget?

Panaracer XC Pro will be lighter than what you have now (2.1's are about 720g), but not massively so, for that you need to go to folders.

At the minute I'm struggling with fitness so I gather getting lighter tyres and tubes will help me while my fitness builds up

haha my vulcan dont want me to get another bike, every time i start saving some dosh the vulcan breaks its self, had to fit new derailer today and cable plus hanger as jammed last night was skipping alot then bracket snapped. Got a sram x7 fitted
And almost forgot to add as the gears were slipping tried to get a bit of air off a roller slipped lost the pedals came back hard on the saddle and bent seat post and saddle clamps. There is going to be nothing bar the original frame left

Tell us a budget and we'll suggest something otherwise we'll have to suggests something for every budget from £25 to £100!

On-one are doing Schwalbe folders for £20 each right now (free P&P).

The 2 pairs of CST's I've had, were over 1Kg a tyre, a wired XC Pro is 720g, the folder lighter still, some of the Schwalbe are circa 500g/tyre.

He said some of. Some are massively heavy dual ply DH tyres. There is no 'the' Schwalbe.
