Help with cycle route website

Postby EvilSpike » Sun Jun 03, 2007 18:11 pm

Evening

I have exhausted google, tried searching here countless times and drawn a blank on pinkbike, maybe you can help me ol' china?

Anyway, about March 25 2007 (give or take a week) i saw a link somewhere in this forum a link to a website that contained a database of 1000's of cycle routes on it that users had submitted. This website allowed you to type in a UK postcode or town and up would come the routes near you with a google map and written instruction.

this website did look quite a bit like www.cycle-route.com however it had many, many more rides on it. One example is that for Plymouth in Devon there was about 200 routes associated with the town, whilst cycle-route.com only has 4 in the whole of Devon.

So long and short of it, has cycle-route.com been cut down considerably for whatever reason or is ther another site, and if so what is the address please?

the post i saw read something like:
"Check this out xxxxx.com" and i can't find it again anywhere.

i realise what a gormster and a dullard i am for not writing the website name down.

Thanks if you can help

Spike
