Cotic BFe build *Finished*

For anyone interested this is my work in progress build thread of my green Cotic BFe. This is my first ever build. Running 1x10.

Spec:

Frame: Cotic BFe Green 16" (Small)
Forks: Rockshox Revelation RL
Front Brake: Hope Tech Evo M4
Rear Brake: Hope Tech Evo X2
Rotors: Hope Floating (183mm front, 160mm rear)
Rims: Halo Freedom 26"
Hubs: Hope Team Green Pro 2
Bars: Answer Pro Taper AM
Stem: Sunline V1 50mm
Grips: Cube Fritzz lockon
Headset: Nukeproof 44mm
Rear dérailleur: Shimano Zee
Rear Shifter: Shimano Zee
Cassette: Shimano SLX 11-36
Chain: Shimano SLX
Seatpost: Easton EA-50
Tyres: Continental Rubber Queen 2.2
Saddle: Charge Spoon
Crankset: Shimano SLX
Chain Device: Superstar Plasma
Chainring: E Thirteen Chain Guide 44t
Pedals: DMR V8

They popped up on eBay around the time I was looking for a wheelset, just the pot luck i saw them!

Its a bit tarty but I think the green Hope stuff will really set off the bike when its complete.

It's not tarty at all, the same as buying it in red or blue, but it will certainly stand out to people who know what there looking at :)... just got myself a rear green disc, just need on on front to match (ebay watching)

Thanks for the comments so far!

I've put the chain, both brakes, shifter (still needs wire routing etc.) and grips on today.

Waiting on the tyres in the post so will get them on as soon as, will get the rear derailleur and brakes set up tomorrow.

Pics will follow when it starts looking a little different!

Looking at that, I'm feeling a bit green.......

Nice, I do like the look of slender steel tubing, that looks far to skinny, on an LT HT, although they always look even skinnier when their are no tyres on for some reason!

Things left to do:
- Fit saddle
- Route cables
- Adjust rear derailleur
- Set up chain device
- Bleed and set up brakes (possibly shorten hoses)
- Fit pedals

I once overlooked the wheel tyre logo alignment thing and the trail gods promptly removed me from my bike and placed me in a&e :oops: . Very smart bike by the way.
