Maxxis Hookworms Dual ply/Single ply

Postby dirt jump Jake » Sun Jul 15, 2007 10:14 am

I am thinking of getting some maxxis hookworms but am not really sure on the difference between dual and single ply
Is it just the amount of layers the tire is made of?
dual play is more expensive but is it worth it?

You are right it is the amount of layers.
and pay the extra and get the dual ply because they are strong as hell my friend has been using them for 4 months and not got a puncture yet so they must be good.

Singleply will be lighter though, if weight is a problem

all i know is they are pretty good tyres, mate runs them on his bmx, gets a few punctures though so he must have the single.

So go for the double
