I use Charge Spoon saddles & they do always creek almost from new. I have found that a good smear of copper crease on the rail every couple weeks helps cure the problem. It's annoying but I find the Spoon very comfortable.
The creaking doesn't seem as bad since I changed to a Thomson Elite seatpost though it is still there.

I had a charge spoon once and it creaked a lot.

Or the seatpost did....

I have 2 and have used them in 3 seatposts - creak free.

Spoon on five different seat posts (three different bikes), creaked on all of them but slightly quieter on the Thomson seatpost.

Creaked on every post i put it on, none of my other 3 saddle makes creak at all on the same 2 posts.

Currently perched happily on a creak-free Funn Full Throttle.

Strange, I have 3, one on a Ritchey Carbon post, one on a Rockshox Reverb and one on a cheapy, no-name post and none of them creak.

I have a Charge Spoon on the hardtail and it is great, it doesn't creak at all. I thought it was the nuts until I sat on the stock Selle Italia X1 on my Canyon, which is even more comfortable (and also doesn't creak).

Well, based upon the fact Wiggle are doing the X1 with 55% off so only £11.50 i've bought one of them to try.
