Drossiger FR6.7?

Anyone got any info on this bike?
Seen a frame cheapy cheap and it looks (albeit from photos) to be pretty well made etc. Found a german site for them but I cant read German!
Anyone have any first had experience of Drossiger bikes?

Doesn't look like anything special.Your going to have trouble getting any spares if you ever need them.

Its on ebay pal, just listed as a bare frame with a cracked chainstay, but ive got a tig set :D

Im just after a cheap full sus frame to rebuild my old rocky ridge onto. Any suggestions? Gotta be dirt cheap though :D :D

Don't do it. Welded frames will always be weak unless you can get them normalized then heat treated. I used to build pressure vessels and high pressure aluminium pipe work and I wouldn't weld an aluminium frame. Chances of getting a fault free weld are very minimal and the chances of it cracking again are very high.

Whats your budget?
Have a look at Specialized Big Hits. Giant Glory's, Faith's and Reign X. Marin Quake, Santa Cruz Bullits, Norco A-Lines. There are loads of cheap used frames which are solid.

Ive only got £100-150 tops.
wife, babay and mortgage seem to have completely drained my funds!

If thats your max budget then go for a hardtail. You have no hope of getting a useful freeride frame at that price.
On-One 456 Summer Season or Cotic BFe both make good freeride bikes

May not be the best or the sveltest, but they are functional and tough (latest ones)....

Not really a freeride frame though. More of a overweight all mountain bike.

Put a 160mm fork on either and they are a perfectly reasonable freeride bike

456SS/evo is pretty long and slack, i know guys that shred pretty hard on those things!
