Nike +

Nike and Ipod have a system called Nike + that includes a sensor put in the shoe and a receiver to go on the Ipod, this tracks mileage and calories etc, so you can plan training. It is designed for running but has anyone tried this in their cycling shoes?

I might be miles off but surely the downstroke of the pedal would be similar to the impact you'd get by running, if so it could work really well and also allow you to cycle to music at the same time Racing into the future

I doubt the downstroke of a pedal is anything like the inpact from running. Cycling involves a constant pressure on the pedals whilst running you create a new impact every couple of seconds. Cyclings a fairly low impact sport on the soles of your feet anyway.
