Maybe my lack of attention to the thread means I've misinterpreted your input but my impression is that your point is that nobody should be bothered about it. I can't understand why you'd come back to make that point over and over. Maybe some people are making the same point but at least it's related to the case. Your point seems to be that nobody should be interested.

LA is a thouroughly despicable piece of sh1t and I would dearly love for everyone who he has destroyed and lives he's blighted to get there pound of flesh out of him.

I'd love for him to end up a destitute broken pauper of an excuse for a man.

Let me try and explain myself using this quote from "Frank the tank".

To me this says one of two things.
One - that "frank" is trolling and simply looking to stir up the troops. Very possible, and really my choice for this particular post.
Two - that this is a true look into "Franks" real feelings on the matter of LA. If true, and I hope not, then all I can think is to say "how sad is that?". I can't imagine letting myself get so wrapped up in a person and what that person does that my rage seems to know no bounds. For that reason alone I'm voting, and hoping, that all that anger isn't real and it's just a troll, of sorts.

How ironic. Your post is about how you can't believe how bothered someone is about it. Don't worry about it Dennis. Just don't worry. Click on another thread, step away from the keyboard, go make a cup of tea.

My post was not a troll.

If you haven't read the book I sincerely recommend you do Dennisn. The man built up an organisation like a nine headed hydra that was there to protect himself and his criminal activities. If you love cycling there is no way on this earth you can defend his actions. Good honest people were blighted and had their careers destoyed by him (Christophe Bassons) for one. Others lived in fear of having their livlihoods destroyed on his/legal teams say so.

Certain amount of irony in you refering to me as a possible troll, the trolls in "good ole" Lances world were those digging and endevouring to get to the truth behind his success.

There's a very solid LA / BC link, but unless BC employ the same zero tolerance scheme Sky do, it's just one of those things that's out there and isn't a huge secret (and nothing to do with Roger or Sean)

Kind of wish it was just a troll. All I can say is that I'm glad I don't carry around that kind of load of anger and hate. Lifes too short. Oh well, maybe you have bigger shoulders than myself. Hope so.

Off the bike as well.

Well, I could most likely come up with a couple of thousand "differences" between the two but I'm sure you have something more specific in mind. Let us in on it. :?

As for the "off the bike...". Are you trying to say that Jan is a "nicer" guy than LA and this is excuses his cheating? Or something like that? :?

I don't carry around a load of anger and hate at all.

I just don't like injustice and unfairness full stop. Not just in sport, but in life. I happen to like it when the bad guys get their cumuppence. As I say read the book and if you have any sense of fairness it will in some places make your blood boil.

I'm having a little trouble with your two statements "I don't carry around...." and "...in some plases makes your blood boil."
In any case I'm stating to find it a little odd that a good share of forumites here don't seem to be able to "move on" when, in fact, I'm pretty sure that all the people that LA has wronged(if you will) have moved on with their lives some time ago. Or are you saying that you're a "victim" too? I would imagine that it's going to be considered somewhat cool to be a actual victim of Lances evil empire and many, many people will most likely be claiming that distinction(if you can call it that).

I assume you're a reasonable person, has nothing ever happened in your life or read/witnessed something that has made you feel the perfectly normal response of anger/frustration.
Yes all people who follow cycling as a sport are in a sense victims, they've all been sold a lie asked to believe in a deciet. As Greg Lamonde (someone else leant on by LA) said "If Armstrongs comeback is clean it's the greatest performance in history. If he's not clean it's the biggest fraud". Not verbatim but that was the sentiment.
Did he or didn't he has only ever been a subject for debate as far as I'm concerned, there are far more important things to truely get upset about. But, at least it's all out in the open now and hopefully pro cycling will truely enter a new era.

To be honest, the things that have frustrated, angered, and enraged me in my life have made someone cheating in pro sports seem insignificant.

I certainly don't feel like an LA victim and aside from a few dozen or so people on various forums I don't know anyone personally who claims to have been victimized or holds a grudge of sorts, so when you say "all people who follow cycling as a sport are, in a sense, victims" I'm not buying. Saying that he has left a trail of thousands upon thousands of victims does not make it true. Sounds good from an LA obsessed haters point of view, but the truth is rarely that far right or left.

I'm not an obsessed Armstrong hater, my word I didn't even contribute to this thread until a page or two back;hardly the act of an obsessive.

If you can ever bring yourself to part with a few dollars to purchase the book, or even borrow it, let me know your thoughts after reading it.

Ffs. On and on it goes. Another couple of posts to add to the pile of you questioning why people are bothered. I highlighted this trend a few posts ago but here we are again. In a few months are you going to still be here asking people the same questions? Just let it go dennis. You're as obsessive about this subject as anyone else whose interest you repeatedly question.

You're absolutely right. I am somewhat obsessed with the question of why people are fascinated by, stalk, can't get enough of, and need to know every aspect of various celeb's, movie stars, and sports heroes lives.

I can sort of understand why 14 and 15 year old girls scream, pledge their undying love, and even faint at the very sight of Justin Bieber. Still why adults do this sort of thing is a mystery to me.

Here's a history question:

Who won the race to replace Lance? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,192854,00.html

Remember this marketing schtick from many many years ago?
When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.

I thought I was pretty up front about following this topic in particular. Can't recall pretending I don't. Although I could be wrong.
